1. Information We Collect

We run three separate things, and they collect different data. This section describes each one on its own rather than lumping them together.

The Pin Stats browser extension

• Pin data stays in your browser. The pins you view, the stats collected for them, your bookmarks, your keyword searches and your saved settings are stored in your own browser (IndexedDB and browser storage) on your computer. We do not receive them, and we cannot read them. Clearing the extension's data or uninstalling it removes them.
• License validation. If you enter a license key, the extension sends that key and your browser's user agent string to our licensing server each time it checks whether your subscription is active. We use this only to confirm the key is valid.
• Crash reports. When something goes wrong, the extension sends an error report to our error monitoring provider (Sentry). A report can include the error and its stack trace, the extension page the error happened on, your browser and operating system version, and your IP address.
• No usage tracking. The extension contains no analytics. We do not record which pins you analyze, which filters you apply, which features you use, or how often you use them.
• Third-party resources. The extension's dashboard, popup and options pages load styles and icon fonts from public content delivery networks (cdnjs, cdn.datatables.net and Google Fonts). Those providers see your IP address when the files are requested.

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads tags to measure traffic and conversions. These set cookies and record your IP address, browser, device type and the pages you visit. See our Cookie Policy.
• Contact and support. If you write to us or use a form, we receive the name, email address and message you send.
• Server logs. Requests to our servers are logged with IP address, browser type and timestamp for security and abuse prevention.

The Pin Generator (app.insightpins.com)

• Analytics. Google Analytics, as above.
• Your email address, if you choose to give it to us to unlock more exports. We store it with our email provider to send you product updates. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
• The URL you paste is fetched by our server to extract the page's title, description and images. We do not keep the extracted content after the response is returned.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy regularly to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.

9. Free Keyword Tool on Our Website

• Notify Emails: If you ask the free keyword tool to email you (for example, a one-time note when a keyword is added to our dataset, or the extension install link for your computer), we store your email address together with the exact consent wording you agreed to. We use it only for that single purpose, we do not add you to any marketing list, and we delete it on request via the contact email below.
• Rate Limiting: To keep the free tool available to everyone, our keyword service counts requests per visitor for up to one day. These counters are transient, are never joined to the keywords you search, and raw IP addresses are not retained in our database.
• Local Storage: The tool keeps your recent results and your daily search count in your own browser storage. That data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
