Read article →Pinterest Analytics covers your own pins: impressions, saves and outbound clicks, free with a business account. For pins you do not own, only public engagement is visible: saves, comments and reactions. Impressions and clicks on someone else's pin are never published, so no tool can show them.
Even the numbers you can see need care. A save count is a running total, not a record of when the saves happened, and it says nothing about clicks or sales. Record the same pin on two dates to see a change, and treat a big total as a reason to look closer rather than as proof that an idea works.
Pinterest hides save, repin and comment counts on pins you did not create. The free Pin Stats extension shows saves, repins, likes, comments, shares and the creation date on every pin as you browse, and Pro adds sorting by any column, advanced filters and CSV or JSON export. It shows what Pinterest already sends to your browser, so it does not show clicks or impressions, and it does not track pins over time.
Only their public engagement: saves, comments and reactions. Impressions and clicks on someone else's pin are never published. The one exception is your own website: claim it, and Pinterest reports on the pins other people made from it.
No. A save count is a total, not a timeline. Compare the same pin on two dates to see whether it is still gaining saves.
Export each month and compare. Pinterest Analytics exports your own pins, and Pin Stats Pro exports any board or search as a CSV file you can line up month by month.
